Irradiation Skin Injury
CharSire Anti-Radiation Product

Adult female Sprague-Dawley rats
Right gluteal area
The skin over the gluteal area was shaved completely and radiation fields were outline with a marking pen on right gluteal.

37.5 Gy of radiation dose for 10 fractions in 32 days, 5 Gy of radiation dose per fractions.
Radiation field size of 2x2 cm (400mm2 )
Treated topically until 60Th day (2g/time , 2 times per day)

  1. Group 1 : radiation + CharSire -B (CS-B)
  2. Group 2 : radiation + CharSire -A (CS-A)
  3. Group : no radiation no drug treatment
  4. Group 4 : radiation + no drug treatment

0 Normal skin
0.5 Slight epilation in less than 50% area or discoloration of hair
1.0 Epilation in about 50% of the radiated area
1.5 Epilation in more than 50% of the area and some epilation with red skin
2.0 Complete epilation ,dry desquamation less than 50% of the area
2.5 Dry desquamation in more than 50% of the area
3.0 Moist desquamation in a small area
3.5 Moist desquamation in most of the area.
